Muslims who are bodily or mentally ill may be excused some of these, as may those who are below twelve years old, the very old, those who are expectant, breast-feeding, menstruating, or itinerant. If an adult does not fast for the details above they should try to make up the fast at a later date, or make a donation to the poor instead. · Related Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle Muhammad Mustafa said, "Whoever is made rich by Allah and does not pay the Zakat of his richness, then on the Day of Revival his wealth will be made like a bald-headed toxic male snake with two black acnes over the eyes. The snake will enclose his neck and bite his braveries and say, 'I am your wealth, I am your gem.' " Then the Prophet declaimed the holy stanzas: -- 'Let not those who refuse.
· Ibn Umar (P.B.U.H) stated Allah's Messenger Muhammad Mustafa as saying in connection with Ramadan: Do not fast till you see the new moon, and do not breakfast till you see it; but if the weather is cloudy calculate about it.
Ubaid Ullah narrated on the authority of the same chain of transmitters that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) made a reference of Ramadan and said: The month may contain twenty-nine days, and it may be, therefore, thus and thus, and (he further) said: Compute it, but he did not say thirty.
